FX announced that modern western cop drama Justified will air on March 16. The play is based on the 2001 novel Fire In The Hole written by Elmore Leonard and tells the story of U.S. federal marshal Raylan Givens (played by Timothy Olyphant) using traditional methods to solve modern cases. The name "Justified" has a certain religious meaning, and in theology it refers to "God frees people from the punishment associated with heinous crimes."
